Funding

Translation Manchester runs several internal funding schemes over the years. These were previously funded by the Wellcome  Translational Partnership Award (TPA), the NIHR Manchester Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) and more recently by the by the MRC UKRI Impact Accelerator Award (IAA). Additionally we collate details of other internal and external translational funding calls.

Translation Manchester funding schemes

We run a Translation Manchester Accelerator Awards annual call consisting of four schemes: Confidence for Translation, Access to Expertise, Access to Tissue, Translation for ECRs. The C4T 2025 call is now open for applications.
