What is a Translational Research Culture? Discussing the role of University research in translation
Translational research is the process by which basic scientific research is translated into patient-focused research that improves healthcare and wellbeing within society. But what do we mean by a translational research culture? And what is the role of university research in translation?
Join us for the opening session of this event where we discuss this topic along with a panel of speakers. We will discuss the key characteristics of a translational research culture in Manchester and debate the relationship between commercialisation and public health outcomes.
This event will be online, and you will have the opportunity to submit questions to the panel.
