New Release of Pankhurst Health Technology Translation Toolkit
Six months after the initial launch, the Christabel Pankhurst Institute and Translation Manchester are pleased to announce the release of a new version of the Pankhurst Health Technology Translation Toolkit, which is an interactive webtool designed to support the translation of health technologies from research to patient benefit. This toolkit is for academics, industry professionals, and NHS staff involved in the development of health technologies such as software as a medical device, non-invasive medical devices, and implantable/invasive medical devices.
The new version of the toolkit comes with a range of exciting enhancements designed to improve user experience and workflow efficiency. The improved progress tracker functionality allows users to manage multiple projects effectively. The extended search capabilities enable users to locate specific terms more quickly and accurately. Enhancements to site navigation streamline access, for example, to the progress tracker. Finally, the option to request guest user access allows a broader audience to access information such as local contact details for the organisations within the translational research support infrastructure.
The toolkit offers a range of features to help navigate the complexities of bringing innovations to the healthcare sector. Please see the translation toolkit flyer for more details on its features. Users will have access to: step-by-step guides for translating health technologies, a progress tracker to monitor key translational milestones, a resource database and a support network directory to aid the translational process, as well as real-world examples of health technology innovations from The University of Manchester.
