Our partners are looking for advisors to help shape the following research projects:

 

Improve Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) referral process

A team in the Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is looking for parent/carer and professionals, or young people to join advisory groups to help shape their research to improve the referral process for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).

You will need to be at least 16 years old and have any of the following:

  • experience of being referred to CAMHS

  • experience of someone you care for beingreferred to CAMHS

  • experience of trying to make a referral to CAMHS

  • have worked as a professional referring someone to CAMHS

You will also need to have an interest in mental health research.

How has COVID-19 affected people with mental illness?

Researchers at the University of Manchester are researching the links between COVID-19 and mental illness. They need members of the public to join an advisory group and help them shape their research. 

You could help if you:

  • have experience of mental illness

  • live in Greater Manchester

  • are aged at least 18 years old

  • have an interest in health research
