The University of Manchester (UoM) Wellcome Trust Institutional Translational Partnership Award (TPA) has been renewed until 2024. The TPA funding is aimed at building better links between science, technology, and innovation by removing barriers between disciplines and making it easier for researchers to take the first translational steps. Translation Manchester funding schemes, Access to Expertise (A2E) and Project for Translation (P4T), are open for applications from 5th July 2021.

Applications for both awards are open to staff in the Faculties of Humanities, Science and Engineering, and Biology, Medicine and Health.

Projects for Translation (P4T); awards up to the value of £55k, for projects of 6-9 months in duration.
