Translation Manchester Funding Schemes 2021: launch event

On the 14th of July, as part of the Translation Manchester Research Network Seminar series, we held an online event to launch our funding schemes for 2021, the Access to Expertise and Projects for Translation.

Applications for both awards are open to staff in the Faculties of Humanities, Science and Engineering, and Biology, Medicine and Health.

Access to Expertise (A2E); awards up to the value of £25k, for projects of 6-9 months in duration. Supports access to appropriate technical expertise, for example, bioinformaticians, statisticians, research nurses, regulatory advisors, entrepreneurs in residence or industrial secondments. Projects for Translation (P4T); awards up to the value of £55k, for projects of 6-9 months in duration. The award encourages interdisciplinary working to address major challenges in translational research and support the progression of an existing research project along the translational pipeline.   • Application deadline                                        Thursday 26th August 2021
  • Notification of outcomes                                  w/c 25th October 2021
